We received several reports about replies in discussion board were not visible.
Symptoms: The display issue (body of reply not showing) occurs because the body of the reply is rendered within the DIV of class dbParentPost, i.e. within the hidden original post that forms part of each reply. As that entire DIV is hidden, the response body is hidden too.
Resolution/Workaround: To avoid this issue in future posts, first paste any content into notepad, copy it from there, and then paste it into Blackboard.
To fix this issue in existing discussion boards, repeat the following steps:

The tags can occur more than once in the same thread, so repeat the steps with other posts if necessary.

- Click Edit on the post above the first one missing content.
- Click Submit.
- Refresh the page.
If the issue is not resolved after following the above steps, follow these instructions:
- Edit the parent post of the first reply with missing text.
- Click the HTML button to display the HTML view.
- Remove any extra <div> tags from the bottom
- Click Update.
- Click Submit.
- Refresh the page.
